Regular Season Round 15: Lemvig - Amager 68-86

The game in Lemvig was quite interesting. Second ranked Amager (11-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Lemvig (1-12). Amager did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 86-68 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-68. Amager forced 21 Lemvig turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Ena Viso (179-93, college: S.Dakota St.) who led her team to a victory scoring 26 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Ruth Sherrill (183-94, college: Temple) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American center Rachel Kehoe (196-93, college: EMU, agency: Gamble Sports Management) with 20 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Maddie Dackin (175-96, college: Ashland) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Amager have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 11-2 record having just two points less than leader Horsholm. Lemvig lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Amager are looking forward to face Herlev (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lemvig will play against SISU (#6) in Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
