Everything went according to plan in Dudenhofen where sixth ranked Ludwigsburg (6-6) outscored 11th ranked Speyer / Schifferstadt (2-10) 78-55. Ludwigsburg dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Speyer / Schifferstadt's 28. They outrebounded Speyer / Schifferstadt 58-22 including a 43-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ludwigsburg players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists.
