Everything went according to plan in Ilhavo where seventh ranked Galitos-Barreiro (8-8) beat 12th ranked Illiabum (5-11) 90-85 on Saturday. Galitos-Barreiro forced 23 Illiabum turnovers. American guard Austin Tilghman (185, college: Monmouth) fired 27 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The other American import Cecil Williams (198-95, college: Cent Michigan) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Five Galitos-Barreiro players scored in double figures. American forward Rozelle Nix (211-93, college: S.Alabama) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Francisco Albergaria (180-97) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Galitos-Barreiro moved-up to sixth place. Loser Illiabum dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost.
