Regular Season Round 15: Iserlohn - Bernau 84-86

Very expected game when 9th ranked Iserlohn (5-10) was edged at home by fourth ranked SSV Lok Bernau (9-6) 86-84 on Saturday. SSV Lok Bernau looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for Malte Delow (198-1) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Till Hornscheidt (184-1) helped adding 16 points and 6 assists. Five SSV Lok Bernau players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized American swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) with 26 points and 5 rebounds and guard Joshua Dahmen (193-92) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Iserlohn's coach Milos Stankovic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. SSV Lok Bernau moved-up to third place in North, which they share with Bochum and BSW Sixers. Loser Iserlohn dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. SSV Lok Bernau will face Oldenburg (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Iserlohn will play against the league's second-placed Itzehoe and hope to win that game.
