Regular Season Round 15: Elchingen - Oberhaching 92-70

ProB top team - Elchingen (13-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Oberhaching (4-11) 92-70. Elchingen made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Elchingen outrebounded Oberhaching 41-24 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for naturalized Croatian forward Luka Kamber (203-94, college: Nicholls St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. Darian Cardenas (198-95) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Elchingen players scored in double figures. Coach Igor Perovic's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was naturalized British point guard Justin Hedley (191-96) with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian center Miljan Grujic (206-86) scored 14 points. Elchingen have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place in South with 13-2 record. Newly promoted Oberhaching keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Elchingen will face Baunach (#5) on the road in the next round. Oberhaching will play against Giessen 46ers 2 (#4) and hope to win that game.
