Very important is a road loss of second ranked TAC NEF (13-4) against fourth ranked Darussafaka (10-8) on Saturday night. Visiting TAC NEF was defeated by Darussafaka in a tough game in Istanbul 59-65. Darussafaka outrebounded TAC NEF 49-33 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Mahmut Celik (206-1) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds. Hasan Uzun (189-3) chipped in 10 points. Darussafaka's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Berkay Civgin (-1) produced 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Hakan Cakir (-1) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. The victory was the third consecutive win for Darussafaka. They maintain fourth place with 10-8 record. TAC NEF at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Darussafaka will have a break next round. TAC NEF will play at home against FMV Isik BB and hope to win that game.
