Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Dorsten (6-10) was outscored at home by fourth ranked Herford (11-5) 96-67 on Saturday. Herford dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Dorsten's 30. Herford had a 38-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Lithuanian forward Vaidotas Volkus (203-85, college: Redlands CC) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Point guard Ole Wendt (190-92) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners.
