No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Gunners Oberwart (13-5) crushed 9th ranked Arkadia Lions (3-15) in Traiskirchen 83-52 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Gunners Oberwart. Arkadia Lions was better in third quarter 10-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American guard Lawrence Alexander (190-91, college: NDSU) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 4 assists. The other American import Orion Outerbridge (206-88, college: URI) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Gunners Oberwart players scored in double figures. American swingman Shawn Ray (194-80, college: NC Central) replied with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Aleksandar Andjelkovic (201-97) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Arkadia Lions. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gunners Oberwart moved-up to third place, which they share with Kapfenberg. Arkadia Lions lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 15 games lost.
