Regular Season Round 15: Regnitztal - Rosenheim 54-74

There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Rosenheim (6-9) crushed on the road higher ranked Regnitztal (7-8) 74-54 on Saturday. Rosenheim forced 20 Regnitztal turnovers. It was a good game for American point guard Jguwon Hogges (173-86, college: Oregon Tech) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Bastian Marz (186-1) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Rosenheim players scored in double figures. Nico Boehm (190-3) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Nicholas Tischler (198-0) added 9 points in the effort for Regnitztal. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Rosenheim moved-up to tenth place in South-East, which they share with Treuchtlingen. Newly promoted Regnitztal keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Rosenheim will face higher ranked Vilsbiburg (#9) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
