Very predictable result when seventh ranked Darussafaka (9-7) rolled over 15th ranked Buyukcekmece (3-13) in Istanbul 105-56 on Sunday. Darussafaka shot the lights out from three sinking 23 long-distance shots on high 63.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Buyukcekmece's players. Quite impressive performance for the former international point guard Kartal Ozmizrak (189-95, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Bonzie Colson-Jr (198-96, college: Notre Dame) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Darussafaka players scored in double figures. Mert Celep (206-95) replied with 9 points and 10 rebounds and center Deniz Kilicli (206-90, college: WVU) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Buyukcekmece. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Darussafaka moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Bandirma. Buyukcekmece lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 13 games lost. Darussafaka will face Bursaspor (#10) on the road in the next round. Buyukcekmece will play against the league's second-placed Pinar Karsiyaka (#2) and hope to win that game.
