Regular Season Round 15: Eimsbuetteler - Bramsche TuS 100-61

Everything went according to plan when first ranked ETV (12-1) outplayed 10th ranked Bramsche TuS (4-9) in Hamburg 100-61 on Sunday. ETV held Bramsche TuS to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.6 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Bramsche TuS 51-37 including a 38-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. ETV looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Bramsche TuS's players. It was a good game for American guard Tyseem Lyles (188, college: Mercy) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 8 assists. Lithuanian guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Croatian power forward Sasha Cuic (208-83, college: Oregon St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and American swingman Kendall Timmons (195-90, college: Tulane) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bramsche TuS. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ETV have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place in North with 12-1 record. Newly promoted Bramsche TuS dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. ETV will face Rendsburg (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Bramsche TuS will play against Aschersleben and hope to win that game.
