Seventh-ranked Hallmann (5-12) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Gmunden Swans (15-3) in Vienna on Sunday. The visitors from Gmunden managed to secure only five-point victory 106-101. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 16 points after three quarters before their 21-5 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 5-point victory in overtime. Gmunden Swans dominated on the defensive end, holding Hallmann to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Hallmann's 28 and made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. It was a good game for the former international forward Enis Murati (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international forward Toni Blazan (197-92, agency: Mansfield and Associates) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Israeli center Anton Shoutvin (206-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) and the former international Jason Detrick (195-80, college: Oklahoma) added 24 points and 5 assists in the effort for Hallmann. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Gmunden Swans have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-3 record. Hallmann lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 12 games lost.
