Regular Season Round 14: V.Knasiaus KM - Siauliu 105-64

U18 League top team - V.Knasiaus KM (13-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Siauliu (5-6) in Klaipeda 105-64. The game without a history. V.Knasiaus KM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Siauliu's players. Forward Kasparas Jonauskas (201-2) notched 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and forward Justas Maceikis (198-2) supported him with 17 points and 9 rebounds. V.Knasiaus KM's coach Gytis Krugelevicius felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists by Martynas Cesnauskas (-2) did not help to save the game for Siauliu. Arnas Kaupas (-2) added 16 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Five V.Knasiaus KM and four Siauliu players scored in double figures. V.Knasiaus KM have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-0 record. Loser Siauliu dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. V.Knasiaus KM will meet Kretingos SM (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Siauliu will play against the league's second-placed Vilniaus Silputa and hope to secure a win.
