Tesvikiye dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Turk Telekom's 20. Tesvikiye forced 21 Turk Telekom turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Ahmet Yilmaz orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Ege Eskinazi contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Tesvikiye players scored in double figures. Point guard Batuhan Acar (-2) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and Yigit Ozkan (-1) added 5 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Turk Telekom. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tesvikiye. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bahcehir. Loser Turk Telekom dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Tesvikiye will face league's leader Tofas in Bursa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Turk Telekom will play at home against Arel Univ (#9) and hope to win that game.
