The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Tofas (16-2) in Bursa on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked Tesvikiye (8-10) 78-66. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Tofas. Tesvikiye forced 22 Tofas turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Tofas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Ahmet Yilmaz had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Utku Pelit chipped in 20 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Omer Peksari (194-3) with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists and forward Temel Keskindemir (205-1) scored 19 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tesvikiye have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Galatasaray and Gaziantep. Tofas at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Fenerbahce.
