Everything went according to plan in Ankara where fifth ranked Turk Telekom (9-9) beat 9th ranked Arel Univ (5-13) 84-76 on Wednesday. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Yigit Ozkan (-1) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists. Onurcan Tekbas (-2) chipped in 21 points. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Saruhan Cakir (-1) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and Safak Yurdakulu (-1) added 19 points and 14 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Turk Telekom maintains fifth position with 9-9 record. Loser Arel Univ dropped to the eighth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Pinar Karsiyaka and Bursaspor.
