There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Gargzdu (13-15) rolled over their close opponent Ezerunas (11-17) in Gargzdai 89-67 on Thursday. Gargzdu outrebounded Ezerunas 42-30 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Ernestas Jonkus (187-99) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Kristupas Totoris (198-96, college: Flagler) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Gargzdu players scored in double figures. Ignas Bilinskas (205-97) answered with 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and point guard Dominykas Zupkauskas (186-96) added 8 points and 12 assists in the effort for Ezerunas. The victory was the third consecutive win for Gargzdu. Despite that victory Gargzdu went down to fifteenth position due to points difference. Ezerunas lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth place with 17 games lost.
