The game in Zaporozhye was also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Mykolaiv (5-13) played at the court of eighth ranked Zaporizhye (6-12). Zaporizhye managed to secure a 5-point victory 104-99. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-21. But Mykolaiv won second period 29-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 26 personal fouls committed by Mykolaiv helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Jervon Pressley (203-92, college: Hampton) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Lewis Stallworth (185-96, college: Citadel) accounted for 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. American point guard QJ Peterson (183-94, college: VMI) came up with 39 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and point guard Vitaliy Zotov (188-97) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Mykolaiv in the defeat. Four Zaporizhye and five Mykolaiv players scored in double figures. Mykolaiv's coach Vitaliy Cherniy let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zaporizhye moved-up to seventh place. Mykolaiv lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Zaporizhye's next round opponent will be league's leader Dnipro on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
