Forward Anastasiia Borovska (177-2007) stepped up and scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and center Kateryna Sapryga (186-2011) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. The standout forward Anastasiia Borovska was selected as the Player of the Year of the championship-winning runner-up team champion team BK Frankivsk-Halichina. She received multiple other awards, was honored as the Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Forward of the Year, Best Prospect of the Year, and was named to the First Team, Defensive Team and Defensive Team. With Borovska's excellent performance, the runner-up team champion team BK Frankivsk-Halichina achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 15 to 1 in the regular season. Borovska's excellent performance assisted her team in beating Rivne 66 to 52 in the final. She previously earned a spot in the Second Team last year. Borovska was the Player of the Week honoree four times during the 25 26 campaign. Her court vision propelled her to the fourth spot in points per game an outstanding average of over 21. Borovska also averaged over 9 rebounds per game in the league. She has totalled 11 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 5 games. Viktoria Shmatova, 39-year old Kazakh guard from the finalist team the Rivne, earned the Guard of the Year at the Higher League. Shmatova's best performance made her team reach the final but they were defeated by the BK Frankivsk Halichina 52 to 66. She was previously selected to the Second Team back in 2009 and Defensive Team, First Team, Guard of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year last year.
