Regular Season Round 9: MBA - Berlin T. 59-62

A very close game took place in Weissenfels between Berlin T. and MBA. Second ranked Berlin T. (7-2) got a very close victory on the road over 3rd placed MBA (4-5). Berlin T. managed to escape with a 3-point win 62-59 on Saturday evening. Berlin T. forced 19 MBA turnovers. The best player for the winners was Elias Gross (192-1) who scored 12 points and 4 assists. Albert Draegerdt (201-1) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian Daniel Baslyk (197-1, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals and Leander Dalchau (193-2) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Berlin T. have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of B North-East leader, which they share with Dresden T. Loser MBA keeps the third place with five games lost. Berlin T. will meet at home league's leader Dresden T. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MBA will play against NINERS in Chemnitz and hope to secure a win.
