An interesting game for Medias (11-3) which hosted in Medias second-ranked Galati (11-3). Third ranked Medias managed to get a 9-point victory 86-77. It was a key game for the second position in Nationala. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 47-37 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The former international Titus Nicoara (203-88, agency: Interperformances) notched 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Serbian power forward Nikola Siladji (208-92) supported him with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Even 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists by Montenegrin point guard Milos Krivokapic (185-96) did not help to save the game for Galati. Serbian swingman Mihajlo Bogdanovic (197-96) added 18 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Five Galati players scored in double figures. Medias moved-up to second place in Nationala.
