Regular Season Round 16: Bramsche TuS - Aschersleben 77-76

The most important game in the last round took place in Bramsche between third ranked Aschersleben (10-4) and eleventh ranked Bramsche TuS (5-9) on Saturday night. Aschersleben was edged by Bramsche TuS in a tough game on the road 76-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aschersleben. Croatian power forward Sasha Cuic (208-83, college: Oregon St.) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Moritz Dresing (194-1) chipped in 15 points. Lithuanian swingman Lukas Kazlauskas (188-92) produced 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Daniel Roach (201-97, college: Tuskegee) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Aschersleben's coach Christian Schafer rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bramsche TuS moved-up to ninth place in North, which they share with Vechta 2. Aschersleben at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Goetting.ASC. Bramsche TuS is looking forward to face higher ranked Neustadt TSV (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Aschersleben will play against Rendsburg and is hoping to win this game.
