Regular Season Round 16: BSW Sixers - Muenster 78-83

There was a minor upset in Sandersdorf where one of their biggest challengers Sixers (9-7) were defeated by sixth ranked Muenster (9-7) 83-78 on Sunday. Muenster forced 19 Sixers turnovers. Point guard Jasper Guenther (182-99) fired 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Jan Koenig (201-93) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Marko Krstanovic (196-97) produced 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Ferdinand Zylka (190-98, agency: BeoBasket) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Muenster moved-up to third place in North, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Sixers. Sixers lost third consecutive game. Muenster will face Duesseldorf (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sixers will play against Oldenburg (#9) and hope to win that game.
