Not a big story in a game in Darmstad where 5th ranked Bonn/Rh. (3-6) was rolled over by leader Sudhessen (9-0) 102-66 on Sunday. Sudhessen outrebounded Bonn/Rh. 26-11. Leon Fertig (190-1) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and point guard Justus Peuser (185-1) chipped in 17 points. Four Sudhessen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Noah Voelzgen (185-2) with 12 points and Frederik Mueller (193-2) scored 8 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Sudhessen. Newly promoted Sudhessen maintains first place in B South-West with 9-0 record. Bonn/Rh. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with six games lost. Sudhessen will face Heidelberg (#4) on the road in the next round. Bonn/Rh. will play against Trier YG and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
