JLS top team - Crvena Zv. U19 (12-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Sloboda NS U19 (4-9) in Novi Sad 85-52. Crvena Zv. U19 forced 19 Sloboda NS U19 turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Crvena Zv. U19 especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Sloboda NS U19 was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Filip Andusic (-2) nailed 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and forward Vuk Dobrasinovic (202-2) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Crvena Zv. U19 players scored in double figures. Uros Banjac (-1) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and D Sarenac added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Sloboda NS U19 in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Crvena Zv. U19 have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Sloboda NS U19 lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. Crvena Zv. U19 will play against Radnicki U19 (#8) in Kragujevac in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sloboda NS U19 will play on the road against Sloboda U19 in Uzice and hopes to get back on the winning track.
