KBSL top team - Fenerbahce (13-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat ninth ranked Adana Basket (5-9) in Istanbul 90-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Adana Basket. They outrebounded Adana Basket 47-32 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Fenerbahce players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. It was a great evening for Ukrainian swingman Alina Iagupova (186-92, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Italian forward Cecilia Zandalasini (183-96, agency: SPORTlab Agency) helped adding 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import swingman Alexis Prince (188-94, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) scored 27 points and 6 assists. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-1 record. Adana Basket at the other side dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Cukurova. Fenerbahce will play against Hatay (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Adana Basket will play against Izmit and hopes to get back on the winning track.
