An interesting game took place in Natacao where higher ranked CP Natacao (6-8) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked G.S.C. (3-10) 62-57. G.S.C. forced 23 CP Natacao turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Morgan Batey (178-94, college: Vanderbilt) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds. International Joana Cruz (176-92) contributed with 9 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Tamara Milovac (186-86) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Martha Burse (168-96, college: Indianapolis, agency: Whitecox Lyons SM) added 20 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for CP Natacao. CP Natacao's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. G.S.C. moved-up to tenth place. CP Natacao lost their third game in a row. CP Natacao at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. G.S.C.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked Vitoria SC (#8) in Guimaraes and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
