Regular Season Round 16: Bornova Bld - Manisa 73-68

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Manisa (9-7) lost on the road to tenth ranked Bornova Bld (9-7) 73-68 on Friday. It was a very good performance for American guard Donte Clark (194-94, college: Texas Southern, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Isiah Umipig (183-92, college: Seattle) replied with 21 points and 4 assists and Australian forward Jesse Hunt (203-97, college: EWU) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Manisa. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Bornova Bld moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Manisa. Bornova Bld will face Samsun (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Manisa will play against Mamak (#10) and hope to win that game.
