Leader Emlak Konut delivered the fifteenth victory on Friday night. This time they beat 11th ranked Botas (6-11) 79-64 in Adana. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Botas. Emlak Konut made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Nihal Gungor (-90) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Halime Uykan (165-89) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Emlak Konut players scored in double figures. Emlak Konut's coach Vedat Saglik used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Tearra Banks (188-95, college: Austin Peay) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Senay Zeybek (160-1) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Newly promoted Emlak Konut maintains first position with 15-3 record. Botas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Fenerbahce G.. Emlak Konut will meet at home Edremit (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Botas will play against Bayrakli (#5) and hope to secure a win.
