There was no surprise in Allgau/Memmingen where 6th ranked Akademie (1-9) was crushed by third ranked OrangeAcademy (7-3) 91-67 on Friday. OrangeAcademy forced 21 Akademie turnovers and outrebounded them 53-35 including 39 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Akademie's players. Naturalized American point guard Zachary Ensminger (197-1) fired 22 points and 8 assists for the winners. Hungarian center Adam Krasovec (205-1) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Four OrangeAcademy players scored in double figures. OrangeAcademy's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Adrian Worthy (187-3, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) produced 22 points and 4 assists and point guard Lukas Roth (186-2) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. OrangeAcademy have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of B South-East leader, which they share with Tuebingen YT and Crailsheim.
