Regular Season Round 12: K.Sokoly - Zaporizhye 83-85

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Zaporizhye (7-13) edged bottom-ranked K.Sokoly (2-17) in Kharkiv 85-83 on Friday. K.Sokoly was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 28-21 charge of Zaporizhye, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for Volodymyr Shevchenko (200-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Brandon Randolph (188-95, college: Utah Valley, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Zaporizhye players scored in double figures. Zaporizhye's coach Valeriy Plehanov used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Delwan Graham (203-88, college: Jacksonville) replied with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Kareem Jamar (194-92, college: Montana) added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for K.Sokoly. Zaporizhye maintains seventh position with 7-13 record. K.Sokoly lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. Zaporizhye will face higher ranked Odessa (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. K.Sokoly will play against Mykolaiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
