Regular Season Round 18: Triglav - Grosbasket 78-47

Everything could happen in Kranj at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Triglav and 5th ranked Grosbasket had identical 8-6 record. This time Triglav used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Grosuplje 78-47. The game was mostly controlled by Triglav. Grosbasket was better in second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Triglav held Grosbasket to an opponent 21.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.7 percent accuracy of the winners and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Triglav's coach Ernest Novak felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 10 points and 4 assists by point guard Nika Kodelja (170-0) did not help to save the game for Grosbasket. Lea Mehle (178-0) added 7 points and 9 rebounds. Triglav maintains fourth position with 9-6 record. Grosbasket at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost.
