There was no surprise when 11th ranked Oberhaching (4-13) lost on the road to second ranked Wuerzburg (13-4) 71-63 on Saturday. Wuerzburg dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to Oberhaching's 18 and made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game, while Oberhaching only scored three points from the stripe. Center Jonas Weitzel (203-98) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Cameron Hunt (196, college: Southwestern, KS) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Janosch Koegler (190-93) answered with 19 points and swingman Peter Zeis (196-89) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Oberhaching. Oberhaching's coach Mario Matic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Wuerzburg maintains second place in South with 13-4 record having just two points less than leader Elchingen. Oberhaching lost their third game in a row.
