There was no surprise when 7th ranked Lemvig (2-13) was defeated on the road by third ranked Herlev (7-7) 71-63 on Saturday. Lemvig trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 15-10 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 63-71 at the end of the game. Herlev made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game, while Lemvig only scored one point from the stripe. The best player for the winners was international forward Ellen Iversen (180-97) who scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Luka Lachenmeier (173-2) chipped in 18 points. Herlev's coach Sam Tamargo allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
