We should mention about the upset which took place in Capljina, where higher ranked Leotar (8-7) lost to tenth ranked Capljina (6-10) in a road game 79-87. Capljina made 28-of-36 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Capljina outrebounded Leotar 45-33 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Leotar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by American swingman Preston Bungei (198-95, college: Norfolk St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Milan Luzaic (191-96) supported him with 19 points and 6 assists. Even 24 points and 6 assists (made all of his eight free throws) by the former international point guard Marko Rikalo (187-94) did not help to save the game for Leotar. Swingman Vladimir Aleksic (198-88) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leotar's coach Miro Vukoje tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Capljina have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Capljina maintains tenth position with 6-10 record. Leotar at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. Capljina's next round opponent will be higher ranked Spars (#3) in Sarajevo and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
