Regular Season Round 17: Leverkusen 2 - Wulfen 70-84

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked BSV Wulfen (8-11) beat on the road higher ranked Leverkusen 2 (9-9) 84-70 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Bryant Allen (183-90, college: Dakota St.) who scored 26 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Guard Jonas Kleinert (186-98) chipped in 18 points. Point guard Jacob Engelhardt (178-97) produced 13 points and 5 assists and guard Soren Queck (186-98) added 10 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. BSV Wulfen moved-up to tenth place in West, which they share with Grevenbroich. Loser Leverkusen 2 dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. BSV Wulfen will face ETB Wohnbau (#14) in Essen in the next round.
