Regular Season Round 16: Triglav - Postojna 91-65

Second ranked Triglav (13-2) crushed at home 8th ranked Postojna (5-10) by 26 points 91-65, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. Triglav led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Postojna's 24. They outrebounded Postojna 49-19 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Triglav players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Postojna's players. It was a very good performance for forward Marko Pajic (205-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Gaber Ozegovic (198-98, college: CS Fullerton) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Triglav's coach Tomaz Fartek felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Erik Kralj (190-97) replied with 27 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Blaz Abram (185-95) added 17 points and 5 assists in the effort for Postojna. Triglav maintains second position with 13-2 record behind leader Sezana. Newly promoted Postojna dropped to the ninth place with ten games lost. Triglav's next round opponent will be Troti (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day. Postojna will play against Hrastnik (#4) in Zasavlje and hope to win that game.
