We should not miss a road victory of eighth ranked OrangeAcademy (7-10) over 4th placed Giessen 46ers 2 (10-7) 93-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Giessen 46ers 2. OrangeAcademy players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Joe Rosga (190-97, college: Denver) who scored 12 points and 9 assists. Forward Nat-Sidi Diallo (205-0) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American guard Wyatt Lohaus (188-95, college: N.Iowa) produced 24 points and Tim Uhlemann (203-99) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four OrangeAcademy and five Giessen 46ers 2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. OrangeAcademy maintains eighth place in South with 7-10 record, which they share with Bayern 2 and Fraport SKY 2. Giessen 46ers 2 at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. OrangeAcademy's next round opponent will be higher ranked Baunach (#6) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Giessen 46ers 2 will play against Fraport Skyliners II in Frankfurt and hope to win that game.
