Second Stage Round 1: TAC NEF - Turk Telekom 85-65

No shocking result in a game in Tarsus where TAC NEF (7-4) smashed Turk Telekom (5-6) 85-65 on Sunday. TAC NEF dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Turk Telekom's 28. TAC NEF forced 19 Turk Telekom turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Berkay Civgin (-1) stepped up and scored 31 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Hakan Cakir (-1) chipped in 20 points and 12 rebounds. Four TAC NEF players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Yigit Ozkan (191-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists and point guard Batuhan Acar (-2) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Turk Telekom's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. TAC NEF will meet Ozel Gelisim Koleji (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Turk Telekom will play against Anadolu Efes and hope to secure a win.
