The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Telsiai (25-4) in Klaipeda on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Neptunas-Akv. (19-11) 82-76. Neptunas-Akv. made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Telsiai helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Nojus Mineikis (200-0) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Matas Vaitkus (182-0) contributed with 8 points and 7 assists for the winners. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-91) answered with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Ignas Razutis (185-87) added 15 points, 6 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Telsiai. Five Telsiai players scored in double figures. Neptunas-Akv. are looking forward to face Vytis (#7) in Sakiai in the next round.
