No shocking result in a game when Craiova (2-0) defeated at home Galati (0-2) 85-67 on Friday. The best player for the winners was DR Congolese forward Omari Gudul (206-94, college: Angelo St., agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. American swingman Chris Porter-Bunton (196-95, college: Austin Peay) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and British center Chris Tawiah (207-93, college: Wiley) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Craiova will face Medias (#4) on the road in the next round. Galati will play against Voluntari and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
