ProA top team - Chemnitz (21-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Lions (7-15) in Karlsruhe 75-69. Chemnitz's coach Rodrigo Pastore used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Orlando Parker (203-91, college: Wagner) came up with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Marcus Stroman (188-96, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Haylett Sports) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Lions in the defeat. Four Lions players scored in double figures. Chemnitz have an impressive series of nineteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-1 record. Loser Lions dropped to the fifteenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Schalke. Chemnitz will meet at home league's second-placed Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lions will play against BV Villingen-Schwenningen (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
