Second Stage Round 3: Anadolu Efes - Gelisim Koleji 99-74

Anadolu Efes (12-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed Ozel Gelisim Koleji (4-9) in Istanbul 99-74. Anadolu Efes dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Ozel Gelisim Koleji's 46. Anadolu Efes forced 23 Ozel Gelisim Koleji turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Ozel Gelisim Koleji's players. It was a quality performance for forward Tarik Sezgun (208-1, agency: BeoBasket) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Goktug Bas (201-1) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Bilgehan Diril (-1) came up with 19 points and Arda Gurtan (-2) added 18 points respectively for Ozel Gelisim Koleji in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anadolu Efes will play against Banvit (#7) in Bandirma in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Ozel Gelisim Koleji will play at home against Gaziantep and hopes to get back on the winning track.
