Regular Season Round 18: Wolmirstedt - Eimsbuetteler 86-92

An interesting game for ETV (15-1) which played road game in Wolmirstedt against second-best Wolmirstedt (12-3). First ranked ETV managed to get a 6-point victory 92-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Wolmirstedt. The best player for the winners was American guard Tyseem Lyles (188, college: Mercy) who scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Lithuanian guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) chipped in 28 points. Four ETV players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Maximilian Rockmann (198-88, college: UMKC) who recorded 28 points and guard Philipp Lieser (194-89, college: Cent.Washington) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ETV have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position in North with 15-1 record. Wolmirstedt at the other side keeps the second place with three games lost. ETV's next round opponent will be Weser Baskets (#13) in Neustadt which should be an easy win for them. Wolmirstedt will play at home against Aschersleben (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
