An exciting game was played in Ljubljana. Jezica faced Triglav. Host Jezica (9-2) defeated guests from Kranj (4-7) 74-56. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 43-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Jezica forced 22 Triglav turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Maja Jakobcic (184-97) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks for the winners. The former international point guard Sara Meden (171-94) chipped in 10 points and 8 assists. Jezica's coach Mojca Markovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yeisy Perez (174-2) produced 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Gala Kramzar (163-99) added 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Jezica are looking forward to face Konjice (#6) on the road in the next round. Triglav will play against Celje and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
