DBBL top team - Gruner Stern Keltern (16-1) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat ninth ranked BC Pharmaserv Marburg (5-11) 71-66. Gruner Stern Keltern dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to BC Pharmaserv Marburg's 24. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard Brittany Brown (173-95, college: FSU) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. International point guard Alexandra Wilke (175-96, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) replied with 17 points and 5 assists (made all of her ten free throws !!!) and American guard Katlyn Yohn (182-91, college: Bradley) added 16 points (made all of her eight free throws) in the effort for BC Pharmaserv Marburg. Gruner Stern Keltern have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-1 record. BC Pharmaserv Marburg lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 11 games lost. Gruner Stern Keltern are looking forward to face Herner TC (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
