The most important game in the last round took place in Oldenburg between third ranked ALBA Berlin (11-4) and fourth ranked EWE Baskets (11-6) on Sunday night. American swingman Rickey Paulding (196-82, college: Missouri) chipped in 28 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Peyton Siva (182-90, college: Louisville) who recorded 18 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Icelandic guard Martin Hermannsson (190-94, college: LIU Brooklyn) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively. Four EWE Baskets and five ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. EWE Baskets maintains fourth position with 11-6 record, which they share with Crailsheim. ALBA Berlin at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost.
