Regular Season Round 24: Kremen - Politekhnik 68-116

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Kremen (1-19) was outscored by fourth ranked Politekhnik (12-8) in Kremenchuk 116-68 on Sunday. The game without a history. Politekhnik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Kremen's 42. They outrebounded Kremen 52-29 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Politekhnik looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a good game for American guard Christian Bradford (185-95, college: Radford) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import forward Isaac Banks (201-94, college: ETSU) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Bradford is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Politekhnik players scored in double figures. Sergij Satulov replied with 19 points and 6 assists and Russian Maksim Kovalev added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kremen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Politekhnik maintains fourth position with 12-8 record. Kremen lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 19 games lost. Politekhnik will face Dnipro-2 (#6) at home in the next round.
