Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked ChemCats Chemnitz (1-12) was defeated at home by eighth ranked ALBA Berlin (5-7) 75-59 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Erika Livermore (185-93, college: Fair Dickinson) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds and Lena Gohlisch (173-93) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. ALBA Berlin's coach Cristo Cabrera allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Anabel Neuber-Valdez (175-1) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Lucile Peroche (174-98) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. ALBA Berlin moved-up to seventh place in North. ChemCats Chemnitz lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 12 games lost. ALBA Berlin will face higher ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
