Very predictable result when third ranked Science City Jena (14-8) defeated at home 11th ranked Rostock (10-13) 74-63 on Wednesday. Science City Jena made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Justin Leon (203-95, college: Florida) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Julius Wolf (203-93) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Zach Lofton (193-92, college: N.Mexico St.) who recorded 22 points and center Kalidou Diouf (206-94, college: CBU) added 4 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Rostock's coach Dirk Bauermann rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Science City Jena maintains third position with 14-8 record having nine points less than leader Chemnitz. Loser Rostock dropped to the twelfth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Schwenningen.
